The Taiwan Association of Psychodrama (TAP)
The Taiwan Association of Psychodrama (TAP) was founded in Tainan on March 27, 2010. The TAP is a nonprofit organization established according to law, and has been committed to promote the application of psychodrama in the development, research, and training in the areas of medical treatment, community care, education at all levels and business organizations, and to contact and cooperate with the mental health organizations and related areas at home and abroad. By promoting Psychodrama in Taiwan, the ultimate goal of the TAP is to strengthen mental health of our people.
The missions of the TAP are as follows:
- To establish and maintain a code of professional ethics and practical standards for psychodramatists, sociodramatists, and sociometrists.
- To enhance the exchange and cooperation between practitioners of Psychodrama, Sociodrama, and Sociometry.
- To help the related organizations to improve the professionalism of Psychodrama, Sociometry and Group Psychotherapy, and to offer professionals the continuing education.
- To strengthen the contact and cooperation with the related groups and international organizations, so as to promote the study and the practice of Psychodrama and enhance the knowledge exchange among our members.
- To introduce, edit and publish journals and books about Psychodrama, Sociometry and Group Psychotherapy.
- To promote the assessment and certification procedures of Psychodrama, Sociometry and Group Psychotherapy.
- To take on any other affairs that can attribute to achieving the goals of the TAP.
